MOROCCAN DESERT SAHARA TOURS :

Sahara Desert Tour is the big chance to enjoy the magic of the Moroccan desert .Indeed; Merzouga (Erg Chebbi) and Zagora (valley DARAÄ) are the two crucial cities that represent an authentic experience to discover the desert. The DARÄA valley has one of the most beautiful and spectacular desert landscapes. Zagora is at first one of the palm groves that is the pride of this region of DARÄA.The second place is Merzouga sand dunes, it’s a spectacular desert from all dunes in Morocco, and with a height of over 500 feet its peak guarantees incredible cheer.

  • 2 Days SAHARA DESERT :

DAY 1 - Marrakesh - Ait Ben Haddou – Zagora

You will have been picked up at 08 am from your Riad or hotel and travel through the magical Atlas Mountains and Tizi N Tichka Peak . You will be amazed by the beauty of this impressive pass. In fact ,The High Atlas Mountains are surrounded by beautiful landscapes and Berber villages. On arrival to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah the UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest Kasbah in Morocco and the backdrop to movies such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven. we will have lunch and visit the kasbah with a local guide. Later we will continue our trip to Zagora through Draa Valley enoying the views of the palm fields. Once we arrive to Zagora be ready for your camel ride into the desert camp and witness the sunset. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars while locals play their traditional folk songs for your entertainment.

DAY 2 - Zagora - Ouarzazate - Marrakesh

As you awake early, you are greeted by the attractive sight of the sunlight rising over the small dunes of the Zagora desert. This is accompanied by a typical breakfast in the bivouac of Zagora. The final part is the camel ride to meet your driver who is going to drive you back to Marrakech. You will also have free time in Ouarzazate for lunch in one of the local restaurant and also visit the famous Kasbah Taourirt. In the afternoon, we drive you back to Marrakech by Talouat profiting from the views of many berber villages throught the road .

  • 3 Days SAHARA DESERT :

DAY 1 - Marrakesh - Aït Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - The Dadès Gorges

On the first day; we leave Marrakech behind to hit the road towards Ouarzazate. On the way we cross the striking Atlas Mountains, crossing through the stunning Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass, 2,260 meters high. At the midpoint of the journey we will arrive to Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, the most impressive fortified city in all Morocco, and backdrop to movies such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven. DAY 2 - Dadès Gorges - Toudgha Gorges - Merzouga

After breakfast we set off towards the Dadès Valley, crossing on the way the incredible Todgha Gorges where we will stay for a bit to enjoy the impressive landscape. Next, we move on in the direction of Merzouga Dunes, we will stop for lunch before arriving . Having arrived in Merzouga, we will swap our motor vehicles for camels to immerse ourselves in the desert, and search for the Bedouin camp where we will spend the night. Here, soundtracked by desert silence, we will enjoy one of the most authentic dinners in all Morocco. DAY 3 - Merzouga - Rissani-Alnif-Tazarine - Draa Valley - Agdz - Marrakesh

The unmissable sight in the desert is the sunrise. Having enjoyed this tranquil moment, the tour returns to the hotel where to shower and have breakfast. Passing through the Tafilalet palm grove and Rissani village (from where Morocco’s ruling Alaouite dynasty comes) the tour arrives at Alnif, where we take the road crossing the Anti Atlas mountain range. Through these remarkable mountainous passages we will arrive at Tazarine, (an important Berber village), N’kob and, finally the Draa Valley and its impressive palm grove. Having crossed the mountain range by the Tizi n-Tinifift pass (1660 metres high) we arrive at Ouarzazate, where we will stop for launch before continuing our return journey to Marrakesh - leaving you at your hotel in the evening.

  • 4 Days Desert authentic tour :

DAY 1 - Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Valley of the Roses – Dades Gorges :

Meeting at 8h00am at your Riad / Hotel direction to Boumaln Dades through the Tizi- N-Tichka peak (2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains. From Marrakech to Ouarzazate, you will enjoy the scenic road, beautiful landscapes with different colors and the Berber villages along the way. You will have free time to visit the old Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou as it has been named by UNESCO in 1987 World Heritage site, it has been used as a backdrop for more than 20 films including “Gladiator” “Indiana Jones” and “Lawrence of Arabia”. Enjoying a walk to explore the traditional Moroccan style of architecture in which the Kasbahs are built. After having lunch, you will go further south east to the green Dades valley and the city of roses via the fascinating Skoura palmery. Dinner and overnight in Dades valle.

DAY 2 - Dades Gorges – Toudra Gorges – Merzouga

After breakfast, departure from your hotel in Dades valley at 8 am, taking the road of 1000 kasbahs drive around the colorful Berber villages of the Dades valley. 45 km further, you will get to Tinghir with it’s beautiful palm grove and Jewish quarter. You continue to Toudra Gorges , free time to walk along the canyon of about 300m high, a favorite place for rock climbers. Afterwards you will leave to Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga Sahara desert and you will have time for lunch on the way before you arrive to Erfoud. Then we’ll head for the Erg Chebbi sand dunes.will be toward the 16.00 h you ride the camels who are waiting to take you on an adventure in the dunes with the sunset. At the camp , enjoy your dinner with fire and local music .

DAY 3 - Merzouga – Ouarzazate

Early morning, you will wake up to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi, followed by breakfast in the camp the camel trek back to the hotel at the dune line for a quick shower. We drive to Rissani, a small Saharian town in southeast of Morocco, here we can stop to visit mausole moulay ali cherif fossil we continue to Agdez and Draa valley junction where we head north to Ouarzazate after crossing the Atlas Mountains. Dinner and overnight in Ouarzazate.

DAY 4 - Ouarzazate – Marrakesh

After breakfast, we can enjoy a visit of cinema sets & studios located in Ouarzazate which is known as Hollywood of Africa. Afterwards we will visit the universal Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah as it has been named by UNESCO in 1987. Ait Benhaddou is the World Heritage site that has been used as a backdrop for more than 20 films including “Gladiator” “Indiana Jones” and “Lawrence of Arabia”. Enjoy a walk to explore the traditional Moroccan style of architecture in which the Kasbahs are built. We continue our way to Marrakesh through the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’Tichka pass. Break for lunch in the middle of the Atlas Mountains. Drop off at your hotel in marrakech.

By the dunes of Sand,an early camel ride with the sunrise the best time to take pretty photos. In dead, after your breakfast and a refreching shower you will be able to make some activities as Quad bikes or 4×4 dunes ride inside erg chebbi . for lunch its recommended to taste the local food called Medfouna and visit the local village to a musical group Gnawa desert.

DAY 4 - Merzouga - rissani - alnif - agdez - Marrakesh
